A little change. A whole new quilt.
Click a quilt square to place your selected block

Your design, on repeat

1

Make a block. Pick a classic block or add a blank one. Choose a patch shape, select Fabric A or B, then pick colours from the palette. Paint by clicking or dragging.

2

Explore a whole quilt. Choose rows, columns and an arrangement, then use “Repeat across quilt”. All instances of a block update when you paint it. Place different blocks, rotate individual squares, and adjust the border.

3

Try the design board. Move blocks freely, sketch with the pencil, or add notes. Shift-click or drag over empty space to select a group. Select one block and make a repeat group to create linked copies.

4

Keep your work. Changes are saved in this browser. “Save” downloads an editable project. Export a picture, an SVG, a printable design, or this complete app as a single HTML file.

Fabric photos, variations & cutting

Use the three buttons below the fabric palette. Fabric photo previews lets you upload and scale a fabric image. Automatic variations shows alternatives without changing your quilt until you apply one. Cutting plan & fabric estimates provides seam-aware templates, a cutting list, and optional backing and binding. Saved projects and offline HTML copies include your fabric photos and settings.

Photos are centre-cropped to a square and compressed for offline saving. Set the repeat width to the fabric width shown by that square. Images repeat across patches; they are visual previews, not a fussy-cutting or grain-matching plan.

What can change?

Keep these blocks unchanged

Keep these fabrics in place

Locked blocks keep their patches and existing quilt positions. A fabric lock also protects every block using that fabric. The quilt changes only when you apply a preview.

Generate a set, compare the previews, then apply your favourite.
